Dear Beautiful People,

Have you ever felt a strong urge or called to do something way out of your comfort zone? Ever had the feeling that with every ounce in your body that you should be doing something specific and there seems like there is no other option to take next? I certainly have! God has called me to travel all over the world to work in the mission field.

Currently I am a high school youth leader at my church. My teens challenge me, help me grow, and I love them all. I am also a weekender for the NEXTGEN team. Which is where I get to lead children ages K-3rd grade into learning about how amazing Jesus is. I have recently gone on a mission trip to Oregon with my college/young career group. God did a lot of growing for me their; way more than I expected. I got over my fear of flying, I was able to let go of somethings from my past, and I finally forgave myself. Most importantly I learned that I want to better myself not for a future husband, but because Jesus suffered and died for ME!

After much prayer and peace that I was given, I have applied and been accepted by Adventures in Missions to go on the World Race. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. Adventures in Missions has sent over 100,000 people out since its beginning in 1989. On my journey, we will be going to Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Uganda. I am so thankful and excited for this opportunity! God has placed it on my heart to fulfill the Great Commission – to go and make disciples of all nations. I want to be a servant for the Lord. I want my words and actions to reflect Jesus. I want others to see the light of the holy spirit shining in me. I want to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, and provide the poor wanderer with shelter. On the World Race, I will be living this way. All my possessions will be contained in a backpack for 11 months. I will be living in raw, authentic community. In each country, we will be preaching the gospel, praying for the sick, and spending time with people in the lowest parts of their social system. And I cannot wait! I can’t wait to share the grace and love of Jesus with people who need it most.

This is where I need your help! First and foremost, I need prayers from you. In Paul’s letters to different churches in the New Testament, he often asked them to pray for his mission. Prayer is vital to this trip and to the fulfillment of the calling God has placed on me. If you would like to partner with me prayerfully, please send me an email and I will send you prayer update letters throughout my time on the World Race.

Secondly, I need your help with fundraising, the total cost for this trip is $18,100. I hope that you can help support me and send me on the Great Commission. You can donate online on my blog or send a check made out to Adventures in Missions (please put Kaylee Meline on the memo line).

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at (970) 415-1608. I will try to give you a follow up call. If I do not reach you, feel free to call or text me when you get the letter!

Thank you so very much for your love and support,
