This poem came from back in South Africa. I was able to share it with my team, then my squad at our debrief talent show and now to you!

Abba I Belong To You

I see love all around me,
But there is more, I know it! There's gotta be.

I must have been looking in all the wrong places,
Because there was something missing in all of their faces.

Hoping for a man to serve the rest of my life,
A man worthy of honor who calls me his wife.

My King, My King, where could you be?
My King, My King, I belong to thee.

A man with humble confidence and a heart of FIRE,
I know this is where I belong it is my heart's desire.

Patiently you waited for our story to really begin,
Which meant waitin for my stubborness to give in.

You have been with me year after year,
But I never saw what I seeked through my fear.

My King, my King, I didn't see,
My King, My King, I belong to thee.

Calling me closer so I would know your heart so tender,
Your love was so heavy I had to surrender.

This love is what I dreamed of, with its merciful power,
The King of all kings your very first hour.

My King, My King, you waited for me too,
Abba, I belong to you!
