IM ONLY 23 DAYS AWAY FROM WORLD RACE TRAINING CAMP AND IM SO EXCITED!
Training Camp will be a “test” run of the World Race…kinda. (How much can you really prepare for this sorta thing??)
At Training Camp I’ll get to meet my Squad and get put into our teams that we’ll be living with for the 11 months we’re on the field. We’ll also do tons and tons of others things like go through different possible “race” scenarios (things that could potentially happen while we are on the field) like broken down buses, stolen bags, airport layovers, etc. but we will also get to do super fun things too and worship and get to know the people we’re spending the next year with!!
I am sooo excited to meet and get to know the people I’ll be spending a year doing ministry with.
Although all of this will be wonderful and great, I’m the most excited for what the Lord has planned. I’m so thankful that He chose me to be a part of the World Race. I know that I will be continually stretched, challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone and that is exactly how I want it to be. I want my layers to be peeled back and be trained in new ways.. I want to be broken in new ways, knowing that I will be beautifully put back together by Him. I want to learn how to receive Him in all the ways I haven’t yet. I want to know how I need Him in all the ways I’ve never known before. Yes, I will get to be a part of so many beautiful things in those 11 months but at the end of it I simply want to be able to say that I gave all of myself to Him to be used by Him in all the ways He has chosen for me.

Cambodia
While we are in these countries my team and I will be doing things such as construction, sharing the Gospel with tribes, street evangelism, discipleship, inner city ministry, working with students, human trafficking prevention, and sharing the Hope and Life that is found in Jesus.
