In one of the first blogs I wrote, I talked about why I
chose to go on the race. When I was 17 I felt called into ministry and knew the
Lord wanted me to travel. Matthew 28:19-20 was the verse the Lord used to speak
directly to my heart. When I finally decided to follow the Lord’s calling, He
brought me back to those specific verses.

Kayla “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and know, I am with you
always even to the end of time.”

I can’t count how many churches, homes, and just daily
encounters we have had this month where someone has said, “you are fulfilling
Matthew 28:19-20.” It took me a week to grab hold of it. The Lord has been
trying to remind me that he is fulfilling the scriptures that he has given me.

We visited a home this week that wasn’t one of the houses we
had planned on going to but the Lord brought us there. We walked up and began
to speak with a woman named Patricia. Her two youngest sons were there standing
with her and one of them had a particular glow about him. I began to pray in my
spirit and the Father told me that this boy, Marco, has a high calling on his
life. I began to see Him in a place of many men leading them to the Lord. God
told me that this boy will one day be a great man of faith and that God is
going to use His voice to speak the message of the Love of Jesus. Marco is 12
years old. My team and I were blessed to be the messengers of the Lord that day
to bring this boy a direct message from the Father. I am humbled to have been
used for such a pivotal day in this boy’s life.

My team decided at training camp that our name was going to
be Mashach, which is Hebrew for Anointed.
This name was inspired by Isaiah 61, which has become a daily prayer for my
team and me. Over the course of the last 3 months we have watched as this
chapter has become truth and reality for our lives. This month verse 6 has been
a big one. “You will be called the priests of the Lord; you will be spoken of
as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, and in their
riches you will boast.”

Every place we go we are welcomed with the most humble
hearts. We are given places to sit and things to eat or drink, just because. I
have been so blessed by the kindness shown to me here in Nicaragua, I am not
worthy of such treatment. But these people think otherwise, because to them we
are seen as ministers of the Lord, we are viewed as priests who bring blessings
wherever we walk. God has shown me that because I am choosing to be His
obedient servant, I will be treated as His royal daughter. I continue to press
in and attempt to view myself as the Lord views me, His perfection and His
masterpiece. I encourage you to do the same because that is what the word says
that we are.
