I have no idea where we currently are in the great country of Cambodia BUT I do know that ministry is awesome. There are a few things we do on a daily basis…
We teach English.
We garden at an orphanage.
We build bamboo fences.
We play with kids.
I should not be able to teach enghlish in any country much less one where the people expect me to be right. However, I enjoy it! The kids are great and make it fun.
Gardening at the orphanage is hard. It is hot. The pig pin next door isn’t the best smelling thing BUT when we’re done our reward is the joy of the kids who live there. After we do 2 hours of yard work we get to play with the kids for an hour.
This mght be the wimp in me talking but man building a bamboo fence is hard work! Bamboo is long and thick and though. I think it is the fastest/hardest growing plant in the grass family…
The kids at the school like to play soccer so we play soccer with them. They like to play with this hacky sac like thing with feathers so we play with them. They like to play ring around the rosie so we play with them. We basically do what ever it is they what us to do and have fun doing it! They are precious!
