Why hello there!
For those of you who don't know me this blog post will give some random tidbits into who I am. For those of you who do know me there might be a thing or two on here new to you too, and for those of you who know it all, well we might just be family 😀
I am 23 years old and grew up in good ol' St. Chuck, Missouri (St. Charles :D). I graduated from Milligan College, located in the Appalachian mountains, in 2012.
One of my greatest passions is the power of art to change the world, through therapy, giving a voice and telling a story. I hope that I never see a moment the world needs to see without my eye behind the viewfinder and my finger on the release. This opportunity will allow for a lot of that (More detailed post to come later)
Through some incredible children at a small orphanage in China God opened my heart to his heart for his children around the world. (MUCH more to come on this later)
I am passionate about sustainable agriculture, and more specifically it's importance to missions work. (More to come as I study "Farming God's Way").
The ability to share the love of Christ is the greatest gift I have been given (sneak peek: He has given you this same gift…Yes you.) Discovering this was the most revealing moment of my life (and quite recent). I spent a long time searching for God's path for my life when I finally realized the greatest thing I can always do is share his love. (more to come on this as well)
These are just a few insights into who I am and what God is doing for/through/and with this existence that is me. More to come as we go on this journey and discover more into the sincere fact that who I am is defined by my creator!
Joyfully,
Kayla 😀
