“The Bible is a good book but not 100% true.”
“Jesus was a good guy but He isn’t God.”
“If you are a good person and treat others right you will be okay.”
“The church is full of judgmental people.”
“If God is real then why is there so much bad in the world?”
Recently I have ran into some pretty tough conversations. I have been reminded that not everyone believes what I believe. Not everyone has had the same life experiences/ circumstances that I have had. I have been reminded that there are people who don’t know God like I do. I have seen people who have been hurt by churches and people who want to believe in Him so badly but for one reason or another they are not convinced that God is who He says He is and that He has done what He says He has done.

I do believe that God is who He says He is.
I do believe that God sent Jesus to die for every single person on this planet.
I do believe that His word is absolute truth- every single word.
I do believe that He is the reason that my heart is beating and the air is running through my lungs.
I do believe that the greatest love of all is mine.
I do believe that God wants everyone to choose Him.
I do believe that because God is real – there is good.
Because I believe these things, the recent conversations that I have had have affected me. I do not want to be the reason that someone chooses not to believe in Him. I do not want to get in the way or hurt someone. As a Christian my obedience and my love can change the world, for good or for bad.

To everyone who has been hurt by a church, or a Christian, I want to sincerely apologize. To everyone who has felt judged or unloved, I am sorry and I truly wish that your experience had been different. I hope that you visit church again, or say a prayer, or call up a friend who loves God and learn more about Him; because a relationship with your creator is something that you do not want to miss out on because of human error.
To all of my Christian people out there:

Lets be obedient on purpose.
Lets love on purpose.
Lets go out of our way to invite others to believe in and know the God that we do.
Lets remember that our actions and our words affect those around us.
Lets make an eternal difference in our community.
Lets change the world.
