These past four months, I have had the privilege of being a part of an all girl team called Mosaic. We’ve had some awesome experiences so far. We have had our ups and downs, but we overcame them all. God has given me such a love for these women, it’s pretty crazy actually. However, with new squad leaders being raised up from within our squad, team changes are inevitable. In fact, they have already happened. But before I introduce my new team to you, I wanted to write an ode to team Mosaic.
Team Mosaic at the Atlanta Airport, ready to embark on this grand adventure!
Candice was our team leader. She is a strong woman of God. She brought so much passion to our team, it was infectious. With her gifting of leadership and compassion, she helped shaped me into a more confident woman. I can’t thank her enough. I am so blessed to have had her as my team leader and I am beyond excited for her as she leads a new team of women into everything that God has for them this next season.

Left: Our team time bonding: setting lanterns on fire. Right: Getting ready for bar ministry.
Lena has such a gentle spirit. It was something I saw in her so strongly and tried to learn from her as well. She has a love for nature, but her love for children knows no bounds. She is a nurturer and I am sad I won’t be able to see all of the children she will love on, but I know that the Lord will use her in mighty ways to bring His comfort to His hurting children.

Striking a pose in Thailand
Katie brings such a freedom wherever she goes. She is not afraid to be who she is and welcomes other people to do the same, no matter what. I learned a lot of this from her. She loves to dance and sing, something I will miss. She is full of courage, speaking the truth in love. God will use her around the world to help usher others into that freedom. It’s going to be epic!

Left: Hiking to a waterfall in Thailand. Right: Sharing some laughs in Cambodia.
Paige joyous laughter brightens up a room. God has gifted her with such a creative spirit, she has helped encourage me to tap into my own creativity. She has a joy that is genuine and true. She has helped me to learn about true beauty and has even helped me with my own sense of fashion. I look forward to hearing the stories of how she brought the Joy of the Lord to the nations.

Megan is filled with such wisdom, it blows me away every time she speaks. She is so intentional with seeking the Lord in everything. She has shared her passion for the power of words with our team and I have learned so much from her in that. She has the gifting of teaching and can think of a complete sermon in minutes, it’s amazing. I know the Lord will continue to give her words to speak to the nations. It’s so cool!

Left: Elevator adventures!!!! Right: Skydeck in Vietnam!!
I just love these ladies so much! I am beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know them and serve alongside them these past four months. I know God has something big for all of us in this next season. We will miss being together, but I know that we have a sisterhood now that will never fade away. We’ll still see each other often and I am looking forward to how our new teams will grow each of us. Team Mosaic, thank you for being so wonderful! I love you all!
