So far I have $1,648 of the $15,500 raised for my race. I leave In July. So I have six months to raise the rest of the money. God willing, I will have it all before launch. I know some people aren't very keen on donating money to people, but want to support in some other way. Both ways are much needed and MUCH appreciated! So here's how you can help support me for the World Race!
Along with the money I have to raise, there are a lot of other expenses that are required of World Racers that is not included in the $15,500. There are several shots that we have to get before we leave. Shots can be expensive, along with just the visit.
I am also in need of gear. I have already purchased a sleeping bag and a head lamp. (Praise God for gift cards! :)) Here are some things that I still need to get:
- A 2 PERSON TENT-completely free standing with a free standing rain fly.
- A FOOTPRINT- for the bottom of said tent.
- A MULTIDAY PACK- with an internal frame, 50-60 liters (front loading would be an added bonus!) 🙂
- SLEEPING PAD- Big Agnes brand has been recommended for easier packing.
- A SILK SLEEPING BAG LINER.
I'm sure there are many other small things that would be needed, but for now these are my major purchases. If you could please prayerfully consider supplying one of these items for my trip, that would be a HUGE blessing for me! God is good. He is faithful, and He is going to provide! He's calling me to go, is He calling you to help send me?
