First off I wanted to say that I’m sorry because I’m doing a terrible job with thanking people who have helped support me and donated to my trip. I just want you to know how thankful I am. What a blessing you have been and how helpful your donation has been! Without your willingness to help me and support my trip I wouldn’t be going. So without further adieu, THANK YOU!I’m also sorry because I’ve been doing a bad job with keeping you updated, so here’s an detailed update for you!
A lot of people have asked me how far along I am with fundraising and are asking if I need more support.. I am doing good so far, although as the days and weeks get closer to leaving I start freaking out a little more. From this very moment I leave 86 days! CRAZY RIGHT?!?! ahhhh!!!
I’m going to break down my costs in hopes that this will help you better understand where the money that you give me will be going.
My fundraising goal is $16,000.
- $12,490 is the cost of the trip that I owe the organization (Adventures in missions)
- $3,500 is going toward Shots ($1,000), Gear and Equipment ($1,500), and Travel to Georgia for training and the launch (1,000)
I have 2 accounts I am putting money in:
- The World Race account – $12,490
- My personal savings account – $3,500
Over all I have raised about $10,000, but I only have $7,350 in my World Race Account. I have two more deadlines to meet before I leave for my trip:
- June 30th – $9,000 in my World Race account
- September 1st – $12,490 in my World Race account
I ask that you continue to help me and support me in anyway you can finically and also through prayer. In 2 1/2 weeks I need to raise $1,650! overall I need to raise around $5,500 to be fully funded. I know that God will provide for me, but I ask that you open up and let God work through you. Already fundraising has been a huge leap of faith and it has been an amazing testimony of God’s blessing and faithfulness to me. By supporting me financially you get to be a part of my testimony and you get to help send me off to 3 different countries to tell people about the one who has saved us, Jesus Christ.
