My name is Katrina Palazuelos Rico, and I so excited to embark on this adventure known as The World Race. Some fun facts about me:
I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. I love this place – its gorgeous sunsets, mountains, and year-round sunny weather.
Spanish is my first language.
I am a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Il.
I play the viola, the guitar, and sometimes I’ll sing. Music is big part of my life. It inspires and uplifts me.
I could read, read, read all day. My favorite novel is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
I am very much a dog person. Cats? No.
Coffee & Chai Tea Lattes are always a good idea.
I have done my fair share of traveling, but I want to see the world!
Family and friends are a priority in my life. I enjoy walking alongside people and sharing life with them.
And most importantly, I follow Jesus.
My favorite verse is Isaiah 26:3-4:
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.
Here is one of my most favorite songs in the entire world. Rich Mullins is one of my greatest inspirations. He was an honest human being, an incredible songwriter, and wild at heart. I pray that the lyrics of this song remind me what this life is really all about and to constantly be looking up.
