My name is Katlyn Wood. I am twenty years old, and I live in the tiny town of Franklinville North Carolina. I live with my parents Keith and April, and my two younger siblings Lauryn and Colton.

I have been in church my whole life. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior at a summer church camp when I was twelve years old.

For the past two years I have been attending Randolph Community College, with plans to become a nurse, and working as a CNA in a local nursing home. I have recently surrendered to the Lord’s call to do missions work.

After submitting to the Lord’s call in my life, and prayerfully seeking His guidance, God led me to the World Race Gap Year.

I am both excited and nervous about the journey God is leading me on.

Please join me in praying that the Lord will continue to guide me, and show me His will for my life as I prepare for this mission trip!
