Its been two weeks now since I joined the base here in Antigua, Guatemala, and those two weeks have flown by! Its been an incredible time of building new relationships with those here at the base. We’ve currently got a team here of ten people, including eight Americans, one Guatemalan and one Honduran. The base here is truly a family, and I have loved being welcomed into it!
A lot of people have asked what I am doing here at the base, and honestly, it can be pretty hard to describe. The vision here is pretty fresh, and currently, the Lord is laying a lot of groundwork. When I was on the World Race, we would show up at a ministry location for a month and jump into whatever ministry was already established there. This base is a long-term thing, and still in the development process, so its not that simple. A lot of the ministry here about establishing a presence in the community and building relationships with people here.
We have our hands in a lot of different pots, from hosting short-term teams to partnering with existing orphanages and children’s homes. This video does a fantastic job at giving a glimpse of all the Lord is doing here.

Antigua has quickly become one of my favorite cities, and I’m thrilled to get to spend a couple of months here! I am still in need of financial support, including both one time donors and monthly supporters. If you’d like to partner with me, please check out my homepage for donation methods! Thank you so very much!
