I’ve been moved into my new home in Gainesville for a week now. My clothes are hung in the closet, by bed is unmade upstairs, and my coffee mugs are on the counter. I’ve shared meals, laughs and wonderful late night conversations with my roommates. Strangers have become friends. A week is a short time, but this place feels like home.
My last week was spent with the other new apprentices doing an intensive introduction to our time here. We worshipped together, ate together, and were given some amazing tools to make the most of this new season in our lives. The first semester in CGA is focused on self awareness and identity. As such, our teachings this week focused on emotional maturity and spiritual gifts. Our speakers were so wonderful and really set the stage for what is to come in the next few months. We were greatly blessed to have them to pour into us.
My life is in such a new and exciting place. I feel the potential surrounding me. I came to Gainesville because God made it abundantly clear that this was where He wanted me. I don’t know what comes next. I don’t know my calling, and I don’t have a grand plan for my life. I just am following the leading of the Father and looking to grow in my intimacy with Him. The Center for Global Action is such a beautiful place for Him to send me. The whole purpose of this place is to help people discover and activate their calling. I look forward to seeing what the next few months hold.
As I have prayed over my next semester specifically, God has clearly spoke to me the words ‘intentional obedience’ and ‘intimacy.’ That is what my focus is to be: being both intentional and obedient in all aspects of my life, from my time with Him to my relationships with those around me, my apprenticeship and my free time. He does and will speak clearly about what those things are supposed to look like, and I am to be purposefully obedient. This is also a season to grow in my intimacy with Him as my Savior, Father and Bridegroom. I so look forward to growing in my depth and intimacy with Him!
Tonight, we had a prayer time to end our ramp up week. As one of the girls prayed over me, she touched on so many specific things I have prayed for recently and that Jesus has spoken to me. It was incredible to see Him confirm my prayers for this upcoming season, and I am so excited to see things play out.

If you are interested in sowing into this season in my life, I would love to chat! There are ways to partner with me through prayer and/or financial support. We all love prayer, right?
