1st Corinthians 13:1-7 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.

Friday, our feedback time was led by the lovely Cherissa James. She had us read 1 Corinthians 13 aloud and we made pledges to each other promising to love each other throughout the year. These are the promises that were made to me:

~I promise to love you more by tangibly caring for you. I want to be intentional about your well-being because you are so conscious of all of us. ~

~I promise to encourage you and support you in the things that you may not be comfortable with, but God is calling you into. ~

~I promise to nurture you into being a woman who is unafraid to be noticed and who is confident in the power of the Holy Spirit inside of her. I will do this by coming to you to seek knowledge and by practicing being completely comfortable with making fools of ourselves (i.e. making silly faces for pictures). ~

~I promise to love you more by laughing with you more and encouraging you more to embrace talents God gave you~

~I promise to encourage you as a leader. You are a leader among women and you have so much wisdom to offer. You lead from a beautiful place of gentle humility. ~

~I promise to continue to encourage you to use your voice, and to honor you and listen when you use it. I promise not to discount your wonderful ability to be still, and to fight for you as you are. I promise to listen to your doubts and questions, should they arise, and walk with you in truth. I promise to encourage you to embrace and pursue a gift of teaching. ~

These are from the lovely 6 ladies that I get to spend my year with. They are encouraging me and loving me into being the woman of God that I am created to be. It’s amazing sometimes how it’s easier for others to see gifts inside of you that you can’t see yourself.
I cannot wait to see the person that I will be a 10months from now.  However, I still need your help to get there.  I need $2000 more to meet my next deadline April 1st.  If you feel led, please hit the support me button on the side.   Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
