Who am I… Hmm…
I have lived in California my entire life. Raised in Fairfield, CA the home of the Jelly Belly Factory. I had a great childhood raised by two of the most amazing parents. Always encouraging me to be who I am and to dream big. My parents are the reason I have had all the amazing opportunities that I have in my life. I have one brother who is a Captain in the United States Army, he is one of the bravest and sweetest people I know. My sister in law is a beautiful and intelligent woman who has been like the sister I never had. I look up to them so much and have learned a lot from them about how to support and care deeply for another, they have shown me what true love really looks like…
I recently graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Political Science, focusing specifically on international affairs with a minor in Religious Studies. My time at Cal Poly was one of the most life changing experiences. Through the love of friends and the love of Christ I have been transformed. Also throug my classes I have learned the need in the world for someone to speak on behalf of the brokenhearted and those who are downtrodden in poverty. This has led me to a desire to be used in the world to love those who have not experienced love before, and to work alongside those who need a hand of help. I just want to make a change in whatever way I can, to have my life count for something. To not just be another face in the crowd, but to stand for a cause and a purpose.
One of my major dreams about going on the world race is to see an elephant… so hopefully that happens! 🙂
