This road that I am traveling on is amazing. It has taken me through the desert of loneliness, the forest of darkness, and the fields of mercy. But I know where this road ends. It ends in the High Places. God has promised me that the High Places is just the beginning. It is through His grace and glory that I have been able to even travel. He has loved me where I am at and He has pushed me beyond my comfort zone. God has shown me what it means to be a woman of God and to serve others selflessly. At the beginning of this trip, God called me to put on a HUGE coat (Samuel) and led a team of seven amazing women. Then He called me to led a team with three other girls and two guys. God has grown me so much and my coat has started to fit a little better these days. It has been an honor to lead these teams. I truly believe that these eleven people have taught me way more than I have taught them.
God has also given me the opportunity to completely surrender all my crap and have a wonderful community of 42 people that I love dearly. There isn’t one person that I don’t think that I couldn’t come to with any problem. My tribe, my people, and my community. These are the people that I rely on for everything. I have been given eleven months with these people. It is an honor to get to serve a great and mighty God alongside each and every one of them.
We have three months left on the Race. I am determined not to miss the amazing gifts that God gives me every day. These next three months in Southeast Asia are going to be the icing on the cupcake, What good is a cupcake without the icing anyway? The cake part was the tough part. We had to all be mixed together (community) and put through the oven(the refining fire). Now it’s time for the sweet stuff. I am really excited to see what happens next.
