just a quick note to let you all know we’ve arrived safely in Moldova!
I am stationed with Lisa, Lindsay, Amy and the Alonzos in a little northern town called Edenet. We’re living in a church building that has a lovely warmth system: it’s like a fire-furnace built right into the wall, so the wall itself radiates heat, it’s amazing! Anyways we’ll be working with orphans and a church here. We are really excited for this time of ministry!
The political worries that were going on here have died down for the time being, so we are confident that everything will be fine. 🙂 But please pray for the government of Moldova…
One fun note: yes, they’ve had shoe boxes from Operation Christmas Child here (they also did in Viile Tecii, did I mention that?) I’ll be looking for any good stories I might be able to find.
