Once upon a time in southern Mexico, I was walking with my team down a street away from the Misol-Ha Waterfall. And the lovely Amy McAllister snapped this photo of our team…

Thus started a trend. We decided to take street-crossing shots in every country, in honor of one of the legendary Beatles album covers.  Thus commenced:

Nicaragua–crossing the dirt road in Candelaria to visit our baker friend Carlos, who sold our favorite treat, picos (pan dulce/sweet bread)–a golden triangle filled with sugary-buttery deliciousness. So here we are in quest of our indulgence….
(please note Lindsay’s amazing willingness to add to the authenticity of the photo by going BAREFOOT in the dodgy streets of Candelaria!)

Vietnam–crossing the street amongst motorcycles. Enough said. Lindsay’s not in this photo cuz she didn’t want to get run over…but we didn’t  🙂

We kinda forgot in Cambodia and Thailand, but I did get this shot in Thailand of the team walking through the market in Bangkok on our scavenger day.

And then…drumroll! When we found out we were coming to London of course we knew we’d need to get a real Abbey Road shot. Unfortunately the guy who took our photo didn’t do particularly well, and plus there’s a girl in it and all sorts of tourists in the background. But here goes:
(please note Krystle’s AWESOMENESS…being the barefoot champ to add to the authenticity!)

Finally, I took this shot at the Abbey Road crossing of the girls crossing in front of me. It’s more like the real one than the previous. Hope you enjoyed our little photo fun…more coming from Mozambique, Swaziland, Malawi, and Eastern Europe!  🙂
