Our beautiful view in Rwanda. Every day we would see the storms come rolling in over those hills. In Rwanda, we led bible study at a different small group every day and preached at church on Sunday. Pictured here, we had the opportunity to get dresses hand-made for about $7! I’ve already sent mine home and plan to wear it in the states. These are the 6 other girls that I had the pleasure of spending the first 4 months of the race with.
On the left, Hannah Henderson is leaving this year to squad lead for another route of the world race! (Click her name if you want to support her).
Next is Jess! She will be heading home to the USA to follow where God leads her next.
Next is Emily Richardson. She also will be squadleading this year! (Click her name if you want to support her)
Next is Carly, one of my lifelong teammates. She is asking God what’s next? CGA? Squadleading? Corporate Job? I’m excited to watch her journey unfold.
Next is Rae my other lifelong teammate. Her passions lie in helping women who have been trafficked. I’m watching as God places her exactly where she needs to be in this upcoming season.
Next is Makita! I will be attending her wedding in a little over a month! I’m so thrilled to share that happy day with her 🙂
Lastly is yours truly. I’m not exactly sure what home or the future is going to look like yet. When people have been asking me what I’m excited for or what I’m looking forward to most I tell them – Hugging my Mom and eating Buffalo Wild Wings. My sights will be set slightly higher than BWW but for now, I’m taking one day at a time.
