So this blog is going to be pretty quick as I’ve procrastinated right up till 10:30 again. Over this weekend I wanted to work on some of the more substantial blogs that I’ve bee mulling over but time just seems to slip away. Today we were able to go to a baseball game for one of the guys in the intern’s discipleship group. We baked in the sun but it was a good game. While there we actually ran into an American working here. My first thought as he was walking towards us was “Wow that’s a really gringo looking Nicaraguan…” He’s totally not hispanic at all it was just a little out of context.
After lunch we went to the beach! Always one of my favorite pastimes, this beach was much better than the one in Guatemala. We were able to swim along with the interns and the discipleship group from Bethel. Coming home for dinner we had a Chinese food lo mein type dish. Definitely one of my favorites here. We are officially starting our last week of ministry tomorrow. I absolutely can’t believe it!
