Sometimes I try to have catchy blogs.  Interesting topics, heart wrenching stories, etc. Then sometimes, I just tell you what happened today.

7:15-8 Devotional with the big group.  It was pretty cool to have 20+ people doing devotional.  At one point I wrote in my journal “I see us laying hands and praying for one another”  About 2 seconds after that, Carly went over and started praying for Ashley, hands on her shoulders.

8-9 Breakfast  Frosted flakes, scrambled eggs, orange juice, pancakes.  Also there were some interesting chocolate frosted flakes with marshmallows.

9-11ish Painted another building a brilliant blue color.  It was fun to work with Cole, one of the guys from the church group and my ever constant Carly.

12-1 Lunch: It was fantastic!  Rice, beans, tortillas and gatorade as normal but there was also boiled zucchini with sour cream and a really scrumptious pasta/chicken dish.

1-3 Spontaneous nap hours for some.  I checked email and talked to people.

3-6:30ish We cleaned the dorms.  This involved moving the 10+ bunkbeds, removing mattresses, scrubbing them down and scrubbing the floor.

6:30-7:30 Everyone showers in a frantic hurry to get to dinner

7:30-10:15  We go out to eat at a mini-mall.  Most people from the church group got the Nicaraguan equivalent to KFC.  The world race team got Subway and Burger King

10:30-10:40 Writing this blog

10:45-11 (anticipated) Brush teeth, read some Sherlock Holmes, go to bed

Good Night!
