So here’s a quick run down of what’s going on. First, I’M IN IRELAND!!! And it’s beautiful!! Second, no cute Irishmen yet (sorry Jacki!!) and surprisingly enough, not many redheads so far and apparently we stand out as Americans. Maybe all of us “American gingers” can go off by ourselves and see if we can pull off being natives…. ;0) But as for the real scoop, I’m on an all girls team called Cologne for Christ. I’m super excited to be able to serve along with these wonderful women!! The PLAN is to stay in Dublin and work with an organization called the Dublin Christian Mission that works with you and does other ministries like feeding the homeless, however that hasn’t worked out so well so far as we can’t get ahold of them. So we’re not positive what our ministry will be this month just yet. Not only that but there’s apparently a huge concert going on in Dublin so there are no hostiles or hotels available in the area so instead we are camping at a gorgeous campground. Still has showers and wifi and the owner is giving us a discount because we are World Racers.
Please pray for our ministry here in Ireland this month. Pray that God will work out whatever ministry He desires for us to do while here in Dublin. Also please pray for our other teams as well as they spread out throughout the country working with Gypsies (which are only to be called “travelers” we were informed) and church plants and other ministries. They will have more travel than us and will be camping in more rural areas so please pray for their comfort and safety.
Also, there’s been a change of plans and as of right now we will not be going to Russia in September. Those of you who’ve talked to me know that that was the country I was most excited for. We are all pretty bummed but we know not to have expectations and that God has a fabulous plan. Instead, we will be going to Moldova. We don’t yet know what our ministry there will be, so please be in prayer for that as well.
