1. My name is Lora Kathryn Kuehn – I go by Katie.
2. My last name is German and, although it looks REALLY weird, it is simply pronounced as KEEN.
3. I turn 21 on August 23, 2014 and, instead of societies normal expectations of this birthday, I will be rafting down a river.
4. I am the oldest of four children – which has taught me that life is much better when you “go with the flow.”
5. I grew up in Tyler, Texas with two wonderful parents who have actively sought The Lord in every aspect of raising their children – They have taught me, through practice, the meaning of grace, love and forgiveness.
6. I go to Living Acts Church – a small, but diligently growing, body of believers who love Christ fully.
7. I like to write, just not about myself – I thought 11 things about me would be easy . . . it’s not.
8. I love learning about people and seeing their lives come full circle – this has breed a deep love for books and film in my life.
9. My community in Tyler is amazing – full of friends who push, love, and share life easily. They have taught me a lot about myself and about The Lord.
10. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old – I gave my life over to Him as Lord this past year. I have never been filled with such contentment, light and joy.
11. Today my favorite verse is Isaiah 55:9 – “As high as the heavens are above the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts, declares The Lord.”
