We’re going into month 6, adjusting to new teams, and taking in all that Bangkok has to offer. I’m on a new team of seven and in Thailand we’ve spent lots of time fellowshipping, spending time with God, making home cooked meals, and we spent a night in the Red Light District of Thailand.

God has blessed us so much this month with lots of laughter and a really nice place to stay. We ended up booking a hostel online for the seven of us in Bangkok and after staying here for a few days, we found out that they advertised the price wrong online so we paid for one person to stay for three nights instead of seven people for three nights. Instead of asking us to pay the rest, the hosts let us stay for a hugely discounted price, which is great when you’re ballin’ on a WR budget. We ended up staying our whole time in Bangkok building relationships with our hosts who help us cook meals, let us use their bikes, and take us to play tennis with them!

As a new team halfway through The World Race, we hit the ground running right away, but have encountered many, many hard falls as a team. We’ve learned a valuable lesson through it all. Sometimes when your teammate falls, you have to laugh really hard, and then lend a hand to help them up.

Lucky for you, our falls were caught on camera. ENJOY! <3
