I’m ALIVE!

and in the middle of no where Ukraine!

Actually, I have been camping alongside the most beautiful river with the most awesome youth group from a very spectacular church here in Gayvoron, Ukraine. We spent the past week chopping firewood with them, collecting water, cooking over a fire, writing secret letters, playing in the river, praising and worshiping God and His awesomeness, eating lots of Borsch, drinking lots of Chai and trying not to step in any kakashka.

Needless to say it was a really good time. I loved being surrounded by God’s creation and having great downtime to spend with my Papa! They fed us some awesome Ukrainian food and the kids cracked me up!

I actually have 8 days left of ministry here in Gayvoron and then Jory, Weston and I will head up to Kiev and fly out to Ireland to get ready for our squad’s final debrief! Its crazy to think that I will be US bound in just a few short weeks. . . don’t worry I already put my request in for a Chick-fil-a sandwich and sweet tea when my mom picks me up at the airport 🙂

Thought I would leave you all with some randomness that I have been chewing on the past couple weeks…

The story of Mary and the alabaster jar and how that was Mary’s form of
Worship. . . how when she broke open that jar she placed her security
and faith in Jesus as her man (haha) how she wasted her life on Jesus.
That He looked at her act and said “She has done a beautiful thing to
me”
Ah I want to live in each day worshiping and praising Him in the
way that He created me to and hear Him whisper in my ear “Katie you
have done a beautiful thing to me” AH! He has been too which is the
cool part! You have to listen to Jonathan David Helser’s – Worship Echoes!

Bill Johnson knocked my face off when he said that when he is mentioned
in articles he turns around and thanks God for the opportunity to be
apart of what He is doing in that thing. When his name isn’t mentioned
he turns around and thanks God EVEN MORE for keeping him hidden in what
God is doing and allowing him to be apart of it…. Loved it!

I have been lit on fire about how important it is to receive what God
has for us and release it to the next
. What an honor it is to prepare
the way for the next to come through and get even closer and make it
even better. By me being who I am supposed to be propells someone else
into their destiny! So Awesome!

Love you all!
