So I had some time to kill while waiting for church to start here on the ship so I thought I would hit you guys up with some random fun.
What is the difference between 1.5 and 3.5 Milch? What is Milch anyways besides an awesome new name to call people
Thursday we got to army crawl over tons and tons of bags of flour. Which of course resulted in a huge flour fight where I kinda blinded Jordan with flour (Sorry Jordan!) We found the eye wash and she was cleaned out in no time! I did offer my eye if surgery was necessary – so glad we are on a ship with a hospital.
Spent one morning running around all the different sites on land. Loved visiting the hospitality center and seeing all the awesome kids. Many of them are there to have casts put on their legs to correct the limp that they walk with.
I was told the other day that we (Jordan Annie Bekah and I) had authority over all storage on the ship because we are of few people who actually know where everything is.
I got to watch 3 movies yesterday! Needless to say we had a day off and I had no clue what to do with myself
The Four Feather is an amazing movie and if you haven’t seen it you need to!
One optomitrist can screen up to 200 people in the span of 5 hours!
Crazy story time::
Jordan, Bekah, Annie and I were in storage on awesome deck two cleaning out the moldy juice mix boxes (oh it was lovely!) As we sort through the good mix and bad mix the PA goes off and we hear that they need an emergency medical team in the cafe. We don’t really pay much attention to it and keep sorting and cleaning. Eventually a man walks past us (its close to the end of the day) and asks if we need help moving some of the buckets we had in the hallway. We politely decline and add that Sam will help us when he gets back He looks at us and says no he won’t. I guess our confused looks gave us away, but he went on to explain that Sam chopped his finger off and won’t be coming back down to help us today. Instantly we laughed thinking it was a joke – ha wrong again! We head upstairs to find that Sam had caught his finger in the lift door and the tip of it got ripped off. Whats even crazier is that Bill was there to pick up the finger and put it on ice for Sam so we got the whole story first hand.
Luckily there is an amazing hand surgeon on board who specializes in re-attaching limbs – sadly the cut wasn’t clean enough and they couldn’t put it back on. Sam is AWESOME though! I think its beacuse we made him the coolest get well card haha! I got to see a picture that was taken of his finger before surgery – I was impressed (Sarrah you would have loved it!) Please keep Sam and the rest of his digits in your prayers!
It takes 1 and a half packet of crystal light to make the drinks for dinner. It takes only 1 packet of thirster.
I hate being sticky and I had to fill up the honey containers today! Ah!
Its funny to watch us racers when we are placed infront of large amounts of American food. . . its like we don’t know what to do with ourselves!
Where do they store the sugar on the ship? Thats the one thing we had no clue where it was today!
I can’t wait to get to a place where there is NO DUST!
I have fallen inlove with the cutest woman here on the ship. . .She reminds me so much of my Grandee and a little bit of my college prof Dr. Carpenter mixed in! Love it! And she is from Columbus GA!
Well thats all I can think about right now! Love you all!!
