Once again, here in Antigua, Guatemala, I am confronted with learning who I am in Christ. Learning and claiming His love for me. Listening and feeling His movement and His direction. Opening my eyes and heart to His words and revelation of my purpose on this amazing journey. It is a journey of life, one that cannot be taken lightly and one that will totally rock my world. I can feel already that He has called ME for this leadership position. He has called ME to go on this journey. He has called ME to touch the nations, to speak life into people, to love and to serve. I want to be a completely different woman after the next 11 months a woman who continues to seek and change even after that. The Lord has really laid a lot of things on my heart in preparation for this walk, run, crawl, skip, dance.
Antigua is beautiful and with each day spent here I love it more and more. I have seen such work being done here by God, but not work done to the people here. . .it has been work done to my team, squad, team leaders and squad leaders. What an anointing and blessing He has bestowed on us the past four days here in Antigua. Though I love it here, Antigua will not be my home for the month. Team Increase and my team (Jubilee) will be traveling to a Mayan village tomorrow to serve Pastor Carlos, Pastor Manuel and their community. We will be working with a group called My Father’s House. Get ready muscles because we are working in construction! Woo construction ministry haha wow how much fun! We will be building a large church for this community as well as assisting in other little projects along the way. Pastor Carlos is more than delighted to have us and when Jory and I called him today he told us not to worry about a thing that they would take good care of us. What a blessing this man already is! Another HUGE blessing is that my team will be sharing this ministry with Jory’s team. If you don’t know who Jory is I encourage you to check out his blog and add him to your prayer list! What an amazing man of God and complete encouragement this man has been to me. It will be awesome to lead with him and just learn from him. He is a man that leads by example and walks so tall in his faith (no pun intended). Truly an incredible brother of mine and I don’t know if I will ever be able to thank God enough for the ways he has worked through Jory in my life.
We are in such good hands here! My team is so encouraging and uplifting. My squad is so real and honest. The men on this squad protect us with all of their hearts and the women are so uplifting and speak such edification into each other’s lives. My heart beats like crazy for the leaders of our squad. Andi and Sean are complete inspiration as they walk in this with us, right along side of us. I Love Them!
Please pray that the Lord prepares the way ahead of us as we travel into this Mayan Village. Pray that He opens the hearts of the people we are about to encounter. That He takes both Jory and I’s teams safely and protects us from any wrong doing during this next month. Pray for movement. Movement in the people of this village, movement in our teams. Prayer for unity and trust, comfort and transparency. Please pray that I am bold and don’t hold back when being moved. I am a volcano. Trembling, causing earthquakes, about to erupt. I am about to explode with a fire that will ignite the nations. Please pray for this transformation.
