For so long I have lived life like this, whatever you want Lord, I want nothing. To have your heart in a posture of surrender is a beautiful thing but the Lord is quick to check the motives of our heart. The Lord recently unveiled the depths of my heart. This is what the Lord spoke over me….

‘You live in a place of surrender because you don’t want to ask me for anything. You don’t ask because you don’t trust. In reality your surrender has allowed you to live in a place with walls around your heart. You don’t ask for the desires of your heart because you don’t want to get hurt. My daughter if you don’t ask I can’t grow your faith. Trust me to give what you ask. Trust me to ask for anything’

I am learning this: The Lord WANTS us to ASK because He wants to GIVE. Our Father God wants us to Ask and He wants us to keep asking. Do you trust God to ask for anything? Do you trust that He will answer? Does your faith fade if He doesn’t answer you the first time?

I know that my faith starts to fade when my prayers are left unanswered. When I have yet to receive an answer, I allow doubt and disbelief to creep in. Why is that? Over and Over our God has proved to be a faithful God. He is faithful even when we are not. He is such a good dad and He wants the very highest for His children. I have seen that to mean that He cares more about our character then our comfort. If he answered are prayers instantly every time, where would the faith be. Our faith is grown out of the asking, waiting, believing and longing.

The Lord has stretched my faith as I have walked out the journey of raising 14,300 for this trip. I started raising money in November 2009. Two years later I have that very amount in my account. If I would have stopped asking… If I would have just looked at my account that only had 5,000 when I left and said, I guess God doesn’t want me to go on the World Race I have been very wrong. The Lord has provided for my finances just as He did with manna, in the Old Testament. He provided just want they needed. No more. No less. Because it has taken two years to be fully funded I have had to remain fully dependent on the Lord, crying out to him to provide for every deadline that approached. He was faithful to do just that. Thank you to all my supporters, who listened to the voice of God to give what He called you to give. I have received several emails asking if you could still donate. I am fully supported for this trip but I am allowed to raise 1,200 to help cover shots, malaria meds, and plane ticket home. If you feel lead to give you can still do so under my account. They will give me the reimbursement’s for shots, plane ticket etc. through my account if I raise any amount over the 14,300. I have been so blessed to have each and every one of you in my life.

Our Father wants us to keep asking. He will answer as your continue to PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens).  Put your hope and confidence in a God that does hear and answer the cries of our hearts.

ASK and it will be given to you

 SEEK and you will FIND

Knock and the door will be OPENED

Which of you, if his son asks for bread will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you
are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more
will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

“yet because of the man’s boldness he will get up and give
him as much as he needs” Luke 11:8

“You keep us waiting,

You, the God of all time, want us to wait.

For the right time

in which to discover who we are,

where we are to go,

who will be with us,

and what we must do.

So thank you for the waiting time” – john bell
