For the last four weeks my team lived at an orphange called el Hogar, the home.  For the first time on the race I felt at home. Loving on these beautiful kids was our ministry. It was a sweet reminder that ministry is not this scheduled time slot, ministry is our life. I am sorry that you havent heard from me this month. I have been working on some promotional videos, in hopes for more sponsers, for the orphange so that is where any spare time went. What a joy to be able to give back any thing the Lord has given me. I will post one of the videos very soon!

This month I learned the simplicity of the gospel. The Lord reminded me through our contact, Bob, that the gospel is real simple. He loves on these kids with such a pure and unconditional love. I saw the depths of his love in even how he disciplines them. The way he loves changes hearts, lives and even atmospheres. He will be the first to tell you, His love is not his own. That all glory goes to God because if it wasn’t for God’s love then he wouldnt be able to love at all.

So often we put all our effort in trying to come to a greater understanding of the gospel when its real simple. Love. God is love. He died for us because he loved us. He raised from the dead because he loved us. He created eternal life because he loves us. He is waiting to come back because he wants more to come to know him because he loves his people that much. What are we then called to do? Love. Love him back with the love he gave us and love others.

Made it to Chiang Mai, Thailand!!!!! We are working with a ministry called, Lifehouse. There are so many outlets to this ministry. Everyday we do campus ministry. We walk around at a university campus of 30,000 students with a heart that is praying for some divine appointments and divine conversations. Lifehouse ministry owns a coffee shop that is used for an outreach tool. It has been such an amazing tool to use with the students at the universtity. It is such a gift  to have a place we can invite the studenst to in hopes of spending more time with them and building relationships. Chiang Mai is the home to at least 5,000 male, female and child prostittes. Three nights a week we are doing bar ministry. Be praying over this. That we walk into each bar covered in the love of Jesus. The last ministry that we will be doing is working in the slums. A neighborhood filled with beautiful ‘least of these’ people. Time is busy with all of those ministries but I will try and do much better at blogging. Thanks for having so much grace with me. Please know that each one of you are deeply loved by me!
