I realized in not blogging for a while, you are way out of
the loop on the happenings in my life.

One of the big questions that has been lurking around for
the past few months is “what’s next?”

For quite a while, I thought I had a pretty good idea of
what might be next.

Which for those of you who don’t know or only know bits
& pieces, here’s the deal.

While in Rwanda (in February) I got to visit an amazing
international school. There was a lot of discussion with the principal while there
and in the months following about my returning the following school year
(2012-2013) to start a special education program.

Since February, I have been seriously thinking about and
pursuing returning to Rwanda in September.

 …BUT…

Yesterday, Jesus closed that door.

So I can officially announce that I am returning to America
on July 27th.

And I no longer have any idea what may be next.

It’s a completely clean slate…

and it’s kind of exciting, kind
of stressful.

I know God is going to be faithful in putting the pieces
together
and giving me the perfect opportunity for this next season.

Two things I do know about the future/post-race:

1) Kaitlyn will be in my life. I will probably talk to her everyday (ok, maybe thats an exaggeration) and visit her a lot. She has been on the the biggest blessings this year and I cherish her friendship more than words could describe.

2) I also be staying in contact with these wonderful people. This was the team that I started the race with and I continue to love spending time with them whenever we have the chance to get together. If I had to describe our squad as an extended family, these 6 are what I would consider my immediate family members. God blessed us with three great months. They are amazing men and women of God.
