Yes, you read that correctly. 

Plastic bags, like handled grocery bags, are prohibited in Rwanda. 
We spent 2 hours at the border going through all 43 peoples big bags & backpacks to get rid of them.

It was fun… or something like that.

Day 5 

Bikes are a common form of transportation!


They have cushioned seats on the back for people to sit on. 

Day 6

A place down the road that makes charcoal,
which is useful for cooking preparations done over fire. 

Day 7

Our team got to dedicate 9 babies at church


She did not want me holding her while we dedicated her. 

Day 8

Mama’s here carry their babies on their backs.
