Ever wonder if Toms shoes company really gives shoes to other countries?
We gave 30 widows this month brand new Toms shoes.
The month of Guatemala we lived in a village and worked with a ministry named GO! Ministries. Their main goal is to serve widows and orphans in the surrounding areas. We worked all month with Mayan widows and we even got to dress in their traditional clothing. It was also our all squad month so all the teams were together and the 3 of us squad leaders were able to spend the month together. As a squad, we did a 20 hour Burn (20 hours of prayer and worship) and it was amazing. Growth happened and God moved.
