Iglesia Columna de Amor is a church that really knows the meaning of serving out of love. My team and I had the opportunity yesterday to go with a man named Henry to visit 3 of the 5 senior-living/homeless shelters that this church runs.

I haven’t been to many homeless shelters in my life, but I have been to several senior living establishments. They tend to be not very happy places to be. It is a lot to sacrifice time and energy into caring for these people and loving them well constantly. I am blown away by the work of Henry and the Iglesia Columna de Amor.

It was so great for us to meet the residents of these homes and love on them, sing with them, dance with them, pray with them, and learn some of their stories. Here are some photos of our visits:

Henry and the Iglesia Columna de Amor have current plans to build two more homes of this type. They would eventually like to have at least one home in each of the (14) districts of El Salvador. Please pray for them and the future possibilities of World Race teams partnering with the Iglesia Columna de Amor to help build new homes, support the staff that run them, and love and serve the residents as much as possible.
