Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

As I read back through my journal, I smile at what God has blessed me with. Teaching English was that one thing you woudln’t exspect your self doing, but you end up doing it for two months. I have enjoyed dancing, singing, and making a fool out of my self in front of my classes.

I laugh when we had a class of 87 kids to teach. I cringe when I am forced to eat Thai dessert and pretend I like it. I make eye contact with my team, when a bowl of chicken feet are placed in front of us for lunch. All of those memories from school will be a remembrance of laughter and how far we have come.

It’s my last morning in our little blue house. I will not miss the smell of mold, nor the roach that crawled into my hair while I slept, BUT I will miss the american meals we cooked for ourselves and living with just my team. We grew into a family in this house and we adapted to living on our own for the first time in Asia, together.

Month 3 in Thailand is now turned into month 3 in Cambodia. Some problems happened with our visas and we are now spending the rest of November in Cambodia! I love the unexspected. I am excited to see what else God has in store for us. He knew this change was happening and it’s happenign for a reason.

Pray for my team as we make a 15 hour bus ride to Cambodia and that we would abdapt with out any problems. Please lift up Rebecca as she is still battling sickness.
