TRAVEL, WORLD RACE STYLE

We are leaving Central America! well we've already left. Right now i'm sitting in the airport in China. I have a video blog to post to wrap up Nicaragua, but cannot upload it on the server here…so for now I am posting out of order. Here is our travel process from Nicaragua to Thailand documented!

My team rode in the back of a U-hauling truck from our ministry site to meet the squad in Granada.

Arrived in Granada to have team changes! Lots of emotions through that process for everyone, and now I have a happy new family of 7! Ada & Justin (still from old team), Andrea, Joe, Peggy, and Paige.

Below is Paige, Andrea, me!

At 6pm on April 4th all 43 of us took a bus to the Managua airport to spend the night.
Flight was at 7:20am to Miami!

Being in Miami was really weird, it’s where we launched from in January. Then we head to LAX…I’ve never been to California! But now I’ve atleast stepped outside there, which I don’t really think counts as a visit. There are a TON of Hispanic people in the MIA airport, and a TON of Asian people in LAX…I think God was trying to transition us smoothly from continent to continent! 🙂  Then a 6 hr layover before heading to CHINA! At this point it’s been about 30 hrs of travel without any periods long enough for sleep. So people are crying or laughing out of delirium, making things all the more fun!

Our flight to China =13 hours.
Our layover in Beijing = 15 hours (this is where I am currently)

One more little 5 hour flight and hey! We are in Thailand! We spend 2 days in Bangkok for cultural briefing at a YWAM base and then have a 12 hour bus ride to Chaing Mai, and a 3 hour bus ride to our village ministry site.

So far we've been traveling almost 60 hrs since leaving Granada, about to catch our last flight! Been blessed with safe and easy travel so far…all part of the adventure!
