I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE.
Nicaragua is already my favorite by far. The ministry provides us with both freedom and structure. Working a ton with youth in the community and church. It's just our team here, first time we've been alone without another team or the whole squad. Our contacts are Awesome! They challenge us, support us, and are American..so can communicate well with us too (always a perk!). Our main contact is a former World Racer! We have bunk BEDS!! I actually don't mind taking bucket-showers here because it's SO hot that it feels great. Nicaraguan people are so friendly and beautiful. It's tropical-ish. It's safer here to go explore (during the day). And it's mango season.

Cafe-Fried-K (5K) at debrief in Granada, Nicaragua. Eat a donut and a cup of coffee every mile….
(it was fun in theory..)

Arrive in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua after taking 3 different buses, now waiting for a taxi!

The back yard at New Song (our ministry), sunset every night, and kids everywhere wanting to play

Leading Sunday school. Lydia gets all the kids to act out Jonah and the whale.

Ada found two baby kittens abandoned without their eyes even open yet! She was bottle nursing them and they traveled all around Nicaragua with us in her hat. The are in 'kitty-heaven' now, but it was entertaining for the week.

I can't figure out how to rotate this picture. But there was a squad-wide lice break out. Now all the teams are split up in different ministry locations after living together last month, every day or so we hear about someone new that just discovered their lice friends! …ick

Walking home from ministry.

Sunset in Leon, Nica. We stayed in a little hostel on the beach for our free day.
