So incase some of you missed it I am in Thailand now working with Zion Cafe this month doing different ministries every week. I love it here, the culture, the people and that it is all squad month as well.
Something that the Lord taught me last month in the Philippines was what it means to LOVE. Yes I love my family, I love my friends, my community and my church among other things. But what it truly means to love. We were privileged to work with a group of people at a orphanage and they taught me what it truly means to love the way God loves us. They taught me that through every hug, kiss on the cheek, screaming match to fist punch thrown, they showed these kids what it meant to love one another but also know what it is to be Loved. The staff is generous in all areas of there work, and it shows from the minute they pick you up at the air port to the time they drop you off. They work around the clock to run this organization and it is flourishing because of this. Kids are finding homes, becoming someones son or daughter and finally understanding what it means to be wanted. I could not have asked for a better way to start this trip, I am sad to leave but also excited to follow along with them as they continue to do the work the Lord has called them too.
