Renewed by a Fathers love… ; )
It has been a long time since I have written a blog solely based on what Papa is teaching me so here it goes…
I started to think the other day about why I came on this race. Why would I leave a life I felt called to? To gallivant around the globe with a group of strangers with all my possessions in a single backpack? Why would I do that? Why would anyone do that? For adventure, to escape the mundane, to see a world outside of your own? Yes to all of thee above, yet I was after more. I wanted the Lord to show me where I belonged. I wanted a sense of security knowing I was where I was supposed to be.
So I went, I packed the bag that I would carry on my back all 11 months. I said, good-bye to friends and family and entered the unknown with a whole new family. Ever since I stepped foot on that first airplane the Lord has been doing a work in me. A work that I look back now and see exactly where he was orchestrating things in my life to get me to this point.
Relationship and Love: are two of the main reasons why I am here. The Father loves me so much he brought me out of a place of love into an even bigger place of love. He brought me to people who will call me out on my mess, and expect I do the same to them. Doing so in a state of love as to not get offended every time someone comes to you and calls you to a higher standard. This is what I have found here on this journey. Kingdom living & Kingdom seekers.
We are called to a higher standard of living. We are sons and daughters of the one true King and are called to act as such. We are not called to live of this world because HE is not of this world. We are made in HIS image. Why are we not acting as such? Why is it so much easier to live in the world, a place that will fade away. People, possessions, and money everything will be gone… What won’t fade? Papa, his love, and the life we have in him, that is eternal.
I was praying this morning and the Father spoke this over me, “This time is for you, you needed it. But look how you’ve used it. You’ve understood my plan in it.” – “this love isn’t conditional,”—“You are not of this world, that becomes more and more apparent everyday.”—Then speaking of loving others and living in this community… “Stand by each other in love. Let life be absolutely beautiful because it is.”
So often we complicate life and make it out to be so much harder than it needs to be. Love is all he asks of us! Love each other and love me over all! Challenge yourselves in love. How much more beautiful would relationship be if we jumped to love before jumping to fire blames at each other.
I am tired of putting God in a box. He is capable of literally anything but how beautiful is it that he LIVES IN US… Do you not think he could literally do anything through you then? Absolutely… He is waiting patiently for the invitation to completely wreck you for HIS glory. Will you let him? He’s waiting.
