Hi everyone!!! So as some as you may know I have been at training camp in Gainesville, Georgia for the last 7 days, 4 more days left! I am here training for my 9 month mission trip to Thailand, Cambodia, Honduras, Guatemala, and Ethiopia. I leave this September!! It’s been a whirlwind of different emotions here at camp as I have been growing in God immensely!!! I’m not gonna lie it’s been pretty tough. They have been putting me and my squad mates in real life sceneries that could happen to us when we embark to the mission fields this fall. Sometimes I ask myself what have I gotten myself into! But, I am completely surrounded with God’s love and so many people that are so strong in their faith, and I absolutely love that. This whole experience has defiantly taken me out of my comfort zone. I have been sleeping in a tent every night and have been taking bucket showers with cold water and eating ethnic food from the countries we are going to. (and even eating with our hands sometimes!) Oh and did I mention that I am constantly full of sweat, it is extremely hot and humid here, even at night. But in the end it’s all worth it because it’s all for God’s glory! I am so excited to see what this journey has in store for me and looking forward to spreading my love for my savior to all the nations!
Also If you are feeling inspired please pray for me and my squad mates for the rest of this week and our whole spiritual journey for the next year!
