Wow y’all, life’s been crazy good to me! God is really teaching me how to be patient, how to love deeper, and how to approach people better. To be honest I still can’t really fathom that I am here sometimes. I’m learning something new everyday and it’s a blessing. Sometimes it’s even a new word in Tagalog from the children I’m with everyday! I was challenged earlier this week with my decision to put my camera down for a while because of reasons involving the children’s safety at the orphanage. Photography is basically my life so you must know how hard this is for me… It’s a confusing decision, but I feel that God wants me to step back from my camera, find other outlets, and step out of my comfort zone. So if you could keep me in your prayers that would be greatly appreciated :). In a few shorts days it will be ONE MONTH since we left our homes for Launch. That is so crazy!! Time is flying by and I know it will continue to do that so I am really trying to take every opportunity I can get while I’m here! These past two and half weeks of being in the Philippines I have really connected with the toddlers and babies at the nursery. They have a special place in my heart and for some reason I feel that when they’ re in my arms God is whispering “They’ve Needed To Be Held” They are all so different in the most beautiful ways and I’m really looking forward to getting to know them better.
