It is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to..

My Squad (pictured bottom right):
This is S Squad. 56 beautiful and passionate brothers and sisters from all over the United States and Canada; joined together by one common love. We'll be traveling from country to country together over the next year!

Team Tikkun Olam (pictured top right):
The ladies of team Tikkun Olam are deep, diverse, energetic, witty, and overflowing with love, grace, and beauty from the King. From left to right: Danielle, Me, Jordan, Jeanette, Jordyn, Cheyenne, and Michelle (who's not pictured because she had to leave early for a wedding, but she rocks and I'm positive you'll be seeing plenty of pictures of her in the near future). The 7 of us will be living and serving together day in and day out throughout the months to come! When I tell you I'm excited about this, I mean I am REALLY excited about this. Like, there isn't a word that totally and completely consumes the excitement I have for it, but I can tell you the excitement brings joyful tears to my eyes every time I think about it.

Our Team Name (pictured on the left..no this is not a real tatoo, but I appreciate you thinking my penmanship is so accomplished that you thought it was real):
Tikkun Olam is hebrew for "repair the world." This name is extra special to me for two reasons. 1) I'm Jewish and to have a team name that envelops my Jewish roots is both powerful and dear to me. 2) My precious grandmother actually spoke these words over me in September when I told her I was going on World Race. From the moment the words left her mouth and entered my ear, they pierced my soul and I knew this had to be my team's name. So THANK YOU to my sisters for loving this name as much as me and giving a unanimous "YES" to titling our team with it!

PS Look out for my blog on training camp coming out later today!
