If you spoke to me prior to Training Camp,
I probably mentioned how nervous I was about the possibility of being placed on an
all-female team.

…welp.

funny how things work.

I'd like to introduce you to the five women who stole my heart
and make up

Team Sisterhood
These are the women I'll be living with, serving with, and generally doing life with
for the 11-months we're on the field.

Christin Chiles (aka, Boss)

Christin is the one tasked with making sure we don't get lost in the bush of Swaziland (…or making sure we find our way out when we inevitably do.)  She's a Florida native and has a degree in Family, Youth & Community Sciences from the University of Florida.  She's hilarious, outgoing, and adventurous.  She'll be the one standing next to me in all the pictures of me doing ridiculous things.

Tiffany Chen

Tiffany hails from California and just recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Fine Arts.  She's quiet at first, but don't be fooled – she is secretly hilarious.  She is also one of the most prayerful, truth-speaking women I have ever met.  AND, she's fluent in French.  And Chinese.  You know, no big deal.

Megan Miller

Megan has a sense of humor that often comes out of nowhere, but manages to keep us all laughing on a daily basis.  (…well, me at least.  You should see the hilarious text messages she sends me.)  She comes from Washington and is a beautiful example of God's redemptive love – this girl is STRONG.  Oh, and she's also our resident rocket scientist.  (…except I'm being completely serious.)

Maria Rocha

Maria just finished a degree in English from the University of Toledo and has lived in nine different states.  She is an amazing encourager, a dedicated prayer warrior, and an ardent Harry Potter fan.  I fell in love with her over a shared order of fried cheesecake in the great state of Georgia.

Rebecca Wells

Rebecca comes from New Jersey and has spent the last 10 years teaching Elementary School music.  She is strong, caring, and crazy powerful – you should hear this girl pray.

"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts,
humility, meekness, and patience

and above all these things
put on love,

which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom."

– Colossians 3:12-13, 15-16
