I don’t have a really good answer for this question. The only answer I can give is because it excites me, and it’s harder to refuse than to just accept where God’s pushing me to go. When I was in 7th grade I wanted to become a missionary. Through that year I thought it sounded silly and kind of moved away from that idea until recently.
I’m in my senior year of high school and I’ve had to give serious thought to what I want to do with my life. I don’t know what ever gave me the original idea to do missions. My church is very supportive of missionaries so I grew up hearing about it and listening to those people talk. I just want to let God use me however it is he might possibly be able to do so, and I want to get to know him as well as I possibly can.
