My name is Karlena, it’s also Karla. Welcome to my blog. I apologize in advance for any grammar problems, it’s not my thing and blogging is very new to me. But here we are.
Since I am going on a mission trip that is eleven countries in eleven months I thought it would be fun do eleven facts about me that might be interesting. So here we go:
Fact number One: born and raised in Oklahoma. Fact number Two: I have 3 siblings and there are 13 years between me and my oldest brother. Fact number Three: my favorite color is blue sometimes green. Fact number Four: my favorite animal is an elephant and I desperately want to ride one. Fact number Five: my niece and nephews are the best. Fact number Six: I love Jesus and seeing people grow deeper in their faith. Fact number Seven: I love hammocking (yes it’s a thing). Fact number Eight: I love to travel and learn new things about different cultures. Fact number Nine: I have a desire to become fluent in Swahili. Fact number Ten: I am shy when you first meet me but not shy so much once you get to know me. Fact number Eleven: I love adventures and love that God placed a desire in me for as long as I can remember to go on mission trips and be on mission because this is where I am currently in life right now and cannot be more excited to see how this next year of my unfolds.
I am so excited to have you all with me on this journey and look forward to sharing my crazy life and what God is doing through me and through my fellow travelers.
