I started off month 7 in beautiful Cuenca, Ecuador with the amazing women of Team Fénix. My time spent with this team and the ministry in Cuenca was very special. We spent a lot of time working in their Café, which was so fittingly called Café Refugio. We also spent our mornings teaching English to the beautiful children of the families who work in a local market close by.
I also had the awesome experience of spending the 4th of July with our lovely Contacts in Cuenca! It was such an awesome time! We had all the comforts of home. Watermelon, hamburgers, red, white and blue, not too mention all of the anthem singing and SPARKLERS!
The lord definitely taught me perseverance this month after hitting that month 7 slump. He also taught me that no matter what slump I’m in he will always bring me laughter, joy and Ladies who will fill my soul with giggles.
