Here are some pictures from our weekend as leaders on a youth retreat last weekend. Jenn, Renee, and I joined team Less for a few days to help them minister to the high school students. It was more of an outreach and sport camp so many different fun and learning activities went on. It was a challenge for me to be as effective with the students since I speak very very very little Spanish. God is teaching me that I can be used even with a language barrier. He can use anything! He is bigger than a language barrier…and my closest friend from the weekend was the person sitting next to me on the bus on the way there who speaks very little English. But she already holds a special place in my heart. God also used us to minister to each other and get to know team Less. I didn’t get pictures of us sweeping the whole cafeteria after every meal or doing dishes or serving food, but those are some of the ways we were able to minister last weekend as well…behind the scenes. God can work in every situation! ENJOY THE PICTURES!
*I wish I had pictures of everyone here for you, but I don’t.

This is the beach just a short walk away from the camp.

The youth playing games and doing activities on the beach.

Linds and I!

Birds just hangin out on one of the many anchored boats.

Danny and Linds helped Rossana teach karate

Jackie helped with acting class and her role was a teacher.

This is me attempting to hit a target…never once got it!

We did devotions out on the beach one morning during sunrise.

Renee and I looking good as always 😉

Kyle teaching the youth some simple magic tricks.

Beautiful, beautiful, beach sky God painted for me that day.

Volleyball.

My new friend Rossana. We sat together on the bus there and she is one of the people who helped put the retreat together. We communicated through very broken English and Spanish (and bugging those around us who could translate :P).

Here are some of the staff for the weekend.

My feet in the ocean…God is good!
