Wow! Things change so fast! As soon as I think I am just getting settled in, it’s time to move on to the next country, change ministries, and even switch teams!
That’s exactly what has happened just in the past two days. The Philippines have ended, and God has opened some major doors for us in Malaysia. We left Dumaguete and went to Manila for 36 hours, which is we found out that Austin, our team leader, will now be a squad leader and our team has been changed.
My heart dropped when I found out that my team was changing because of all the memories I had made with Ginosko over the past 3 months. Saying goodbye to them and then leaving for a new country all at the same time was not easy. I have been asking God for wisdom about what He is doing through this, and just choosing to trust that He has understanding that far surpasses my own. His ways and His thoughts are so much higher than ours, so just knowing that makes things a little easier during this transition period.
We are now in Kuwala Lumpur, Malaysia and I am with my wonderful new team! I am realizing more and more how blessed I am to be with these people, and know God is going to do huge things this month.

We will be working with KL International Church for the first week. We will be doing a lot of intercession for this nation, going out on the streets to share Jesus with the people, and helping out with the Easter Sunday service. We will then be heading to the jungle for the next two weeks to stay in a village out there, helping in any way possible and building relationships with the people there.
Before we got here, my attitude about coming wasn’t so great. Sometimes the enemy likes to come in and steal the joy from doing God’s work, which is what he was doing. I had irrational fears since it is a Muslim country, but since getting here, the Lord has been changing my heart. One thing I know is that if God opens a door, NO ONE can shut it. He has opened some major doors in this nation, and we are excited to walk through them with confidence that the Lord is with us. This morning He told me that He has Malaysia written on the palm of His hand and His heart is here, so mine should be too. I realized that the attitude of my heart did not match with God’s heart, and that needed to change. The Christians here are so amazing! I am noticing that the less Christians there are in a place, the richer the fellowship. These people love God, they are surrendered, and they love the body of Christ. They cherish every moment with God’s people, and I am so excited to have them rub off on me.
I love you all and will write again when we get back from the jungle! Please be praying for the ministry here and that we would have wisdom as we intercede for this nation.
Talk to you soon!
