Top 11 Moments from Haiti:

11.
Surviving
Hurricane Sandy in a third-world country and NOT just any third-world country
….  HAITI …. an already devastated
country!

10.  Celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving on the roof
while eating apple crisp!  Mmmm!

09.  My team and I met an old beggar on the
street.  When we passed by him, he
reached his hand out asking for money.
We quickly offered the only thing we had – prayer.  It was received in such a special way –
heartfelt tears falling from his precious eyes.

08.  Ashlee, Laura and I met a voodoo priest on
the street.  We asked if we could pray
for him; his response was “No, our prayers wouldn’t align!”  That’s certainly true.  We prayed regardless.  There’s at least one benefit of speaking a
different language – someone doesn’t know if you’re praying for them or what
you’re praying for!

07.  After praying for the sweetest lady who loves
the Lord, we met a woman who worships the devil.  We quickly prayed for her and the
environment.

06.  We loaded 17 girls into a small taptap and
drove to the mountains by way of river – YES – you heard that right!  17 girls in a small taptap and the road was
what closely resembled a river!  We
prayed the whole way asking Jesus for protection and we quickly learned to lean
in the opposite direction from the way the taptap was leaning.

05.  Starring in a “WR: This is Haiti Edition”
workout video.  Scheduled to hit stores
this fall – Stay tuned for details.

04.  Dancing and worshiping the creator of heaven
and earth from the roof that overlooks the Caribbean Sea, the mountains and the
city of Carrefour
while singing “Holy Ghost Party”.  Liz,
Becky and I were dancing with Jesus – each of took a turn in the spot light
while the others watched – man of man does Jesus have some moves!

03.  Singing and making declarations in the street
with 2 other WR teams – sang “unending songs” and put on God’s armor – after
the 6 of us put on our piece of armor, Liz boldly told Lucifer to go to
hell.  She continued to say that although
our backs aren’t covered with the armor, we will NEVER RETREAT!

02.  Prophesying over each woman in the house –
each night we would draw a name out of the hat and spend roughly 30 minutes in
prayer for the chosen girl – God would give each of words, visions, pictures,
verses, feeling, etc to bless that girl with.
God showed up each night!

01.  Anointing the Haitian soil with oil –
declaring Haiti
as God’s territory.  Read the full story
