Good news!!! I have raised about $7,800 thus far!! I'm half way there!!
I know I’ve come to you asking for donations and Its uncomfortable having to ask anyone for money. It’s always so difficult for me. A friend recently brought to my attention that it’s not about me and me needing the money. It’s about Jesus, this is all for Jesus! It’s humbling to fundraise when you realize it’s all for Jesus and spreading his love and not about you. It’s so easy to get lost in the fundraising process and forget about why I’m really doing this. Its also very easy to get frustrated and anxious rather than giving it all to God. $15,500 is nothing to him! He has it all figured out, if only he would give me a little glimpse;) I do see He is trying to teach me something while I’m waiting to become fully funded. He’s whispering “ Karen, I got this, surrender to me and stop worrying”. I can sit here and try to come up with a better way to say help me to persuade you to give, but it’s ultimately not what I say that matters and it wouldn’t be from the heart. It’s God’s job to move in your heart and lead you to give. I do pray that if you do feel Him tugging at your heart to support me, that you will listen. With that being said, I surrender my anxieties and worries to Him, He is in total control, and I have faith He will provide! No amount is too small and
